Welcome to The Goods… i’m overjoyed to share my cakes with you !! Explore, learn, and eat cake! The Goods is a small micro-bakery baked out of Vancouver BC. This city is my home, and especially as a settler working with food and intimately with the land, it is important to acknowledge that this land was home to others far before white settlers arrived. Vancouver is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. I am deeply grateful to live and work in this beautiful city.

I make all my cakes using as many certified Organic ingredients as I am able to. I seek to only use Organic dairy and butter products. I work with as many local businesses as possible including local flour mills, chocolatiers, and coffee roasters. The Goods is small and I love it that way. Each cake is made with its own quirks and technique so no, it will not look like any of the others on this site. However, each cake is also made with its own personality and specialty fillings, icings, etc so expect something new, something lovely, and something completely yours :)

Chocolate raspberry

a late summer dahlia adorns this rye devil’s food cake filled with thick malted mousse and raspberry jam, tied all up in salted dark chocolate buttercream. I use East Van Roasters Tanzanian cocoa powder which is the BEST in the city. rich, dark, and deeply satisfying, once I tried this cocoa, I could never go back.

vegan vanilla cornmeal, apricot, honey

focused on local ingredients, organic dairy, and real foods, a midsummer lover, lavender, blueberry, and lemon. I use as much local fruit as possible, this cake is jam-packed with preserved blueberries from the UBC farm, slow stewed with lemon zest, and a touch of honey for sum sweet.
